Have you ever wondered what the near future might hold for you? Well, I have, numerous times. I guess the trick to it is to take chances while you can and to never regret the decisions you make, someone once said. If you do regret it, then what is the point of it? Life would be like a frame without a picture. This is when I am the hypocrite. The statement is easier said than done.
Sometimes, you do not want to loose the one and only chance you have by gambling it away. Risking it could be one way, but then what if the outcome is not what you have been hoping for. There you are again, back at where you first started. The other alternative is to not go for it and the pour soul will then live without knowing what could have happened. From this angle, one would say, be like the first person who take chances and live to see the result. I am definitely working on being like that person, the one that fears nothing, the one that says what the heck and does it. So, I say what the heck anyway. *cross fingers* Hope what I intend to do works. It is a climb, but the view is great, I quote Hannah Montana.
Till the next post, XOXO.

11 months and 9 days
11 months and 9 days ago at an event, Nathan went up to Abigail and officially introduced himself to her. He had her at hello and she fell head over heels for him. The more she talked and thought about him, the more she liked him.
Their friendship blossomed and they could share things about each other without ever holding back. Abigail loved every moment she had with Nathan. With every passing day, they knew more about each other and the minute things she did for him, he never noticed. Just as everything was progressing well, Nathan told Abigail about a girl, Heidi that he really loves and is crazy for. At that instance, he heart sank but she bravely put on a smile, pretending to be happy for him. She told herself numerous times that she would not allow herself to love him or else she would get hurt badly.
Soon, winter formal came and they attended the event with a group of friends. She was in a gorgeous flowing dress with just the right amount of make up. The night could not be more perfect. However, Heidi was constantly on Nathan's mind. Abigail would listen to him talk about her but at the back of her mind, she was thinking to herself if only he would talk about me like that. She knew that she had to tell him about her feelings or else she would die not knowing what could have happened. The winter formal was the last chance as she would be leaving for the United States the day after next. Telling him the truth was the hardest emotional thing she had ever done.
Nathan was shocked after hearing the truth from Abigail and could not believe how blind he was all the while. The secret was out of the closet. Abigail went back home early on the night of her winter formal as she could not stand being in the awkward situation. Abigail cried the whole night while packing her clothes, getting ready for a new start in the United States. There were no calls or messages from Nathan. This was what she was terrified of, being alienated by him. The next morning, her eyes were swollen from the tears and she looked pale. She felt as though a part of her is gone and she did not want to do anything except to stay in her bed.
The day passed and night came but still nothing from Nathan. Then, she heard the doorbell rang, it was her best friend, Bethany who had come over to take her out. Minutes later, they reached a rather familiar place. However, this time around, it was beautifully lit with multi- coloured lights and little decorations hung from the trees. A silhouette could be seen approaching them; it was a tall man with broad shoulders. It was Nathaniel Jeremy Johnson. He was dressed in a tuxedo with a stalk of pink rose in his hands. He wanted to give Abigail the most perfect, out of the world winter formal. Abigail was in awe and as she looked back, she saw Bethany leaving. There they were in the garden on a chilly winter night. He looked into her eyes and wiped away the tears that rolled down her cheeks. They then danced away in the moonlight to her favourite song, wonderful tonight by Eric Clapton. 11 months, 9 days and a broken heart later, she had the best night of her life.
Till the next post, XOXO.

Untitled
There are days when everything seems to go against you. There are times when there is not a shoulder to cry on. At that point, you feel like the only people you can talk to are the ones you shared a special friendship with back in high school. When a time like that comes about, only then, we truly appreciate them. Human beings just tend to take the best things in life for granted. Instead, we should count our blessings and stop chasing after the materialistic things. Smile, when you meet someone or throw a little compliment at them just to brighten up their day. Minute, neglected gestures like those are what make a difference in the world.
The amazing, under cherished individuals,
They are the ones who would do silly things with you and then laugh it off. You can call them 'cacat' but still know that they will be by your side always, through the good and bad. They are the ones who would really listen, give their opinions and also sarcastic remarks. Occasionally, they would call you out to have ice cream when you are feeling down. Therefore, to those people, I just wanted to say how much I love you from the bottom of my heart. I really do mean it.
Walking under the rain today gave me a new outlook on life. After every downpour, regardless whether it was a drizzle or a thunderstorm, the sun never fails to shine after. If things do not turn out like how you wanted it to be, God probably has other better plans for you. The ironic part to the latter piece of advice is that it came from my little sister.
